Share!

Screen Shot 2014-05-23 at 10.40.08 AMSharing is the best way to get your new lenses out into the world. So every single time you publish or update a new lens share it…

on Facebook, Twitter, G+, Pinterest Tumbler and via e-mail.

also share your new lenses with us @squidoo and use the hashtag #squidoo. I’m on the Squidoo Twitter account everyday retweeting great lenses.

So share!

Information about how to use filters on assorted social media would be very helpful. I have a separate Twitter account for promoting my serialized novel but I’m thinking it could get pretty hard to keep up with too many separate accounts on assorted social media like one for each niche. I’d like to be able to promote lenses without alienating the friends, family, and business associates who populate my social media circles, groups, and followings. I know how to exclude people from facebook shares but I have no idea how to do the same on Twitter, for example.

I am loving the way SquidTeam members promote and RT! You all are terrific!

Another tip: When you share a lens, write a short note explaining who would enjoy checking out your lens! Your potential readers will appreciate the sneak preview of your work.

Bonnie does a good job RT lenses on twitter. I’ve found many lenses there that I wouldn’t have seen. Thanks.

Thx for the head’s up Bonnie, it’s a definite change of mindset. 2014 has certainly been a year for changes. Loving it and thanks to the #squidoocommunity for such great support.

I’ve been trying to get into the habit of sharing other squids’ lenses in social media. Failing miserably at it as well. However, it never, ever occurred to me to share my own lenses to my social media directly from the lens itself. Uhm, duh moments can be so painful sometimes. ;)
