We’re experiencing a glitch in lensrank this morning.

Gil is looking into the problem right now.

Hang tight while we work on the problem.

            But if I did that, you’d all know it was me that went back in time and messed up the lensranks. Retroactively giving myself a double heart attack. Which is possible if you think about who else has two hearts…

        I think ghosts don’t get to be a species. We’re just sort of fuzzy energy. Pixels are fun to play with though.

        And I would switch sex, if I could remember what I was switching from XD

    I’m glad to hear that. I thought it was a matter of re-ranking due to squidlikes or something being taken out of the mix. Squidoo would have every right to do that.

    I was quite shocked to see 3 of my lenses sink so much and my best one had nothing to do with squidlikes as it rose high for organic traffic from search engines – so I was wondering what on Earth caused this – great to know you’re working on it :)

    I’d agree, BramdeHaas. I was shocked to see 80% of my lenses belly up into the 200,000s this morning and all I could think of was, “what did I do to get this?” No heart attacks, Aunt-Mollie, just a lot of sinking. I’m really glad that I decided to check in again.

    I thought it was weird to have lenses in a row: 269,196 and 269,197 and all the way to 269,228. Now if got subtract 269,000 from each – that would be nice ranking!

    I don’t think it is fixed! My first two lenses look sort of OK. But not the rest. If I click on the stats for one of my lenses I get a VERY different number showing as lens rank.

    Will all of the tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 lenses be returned to their proper ranking without interruption once the problem is fixed? If 24 hours elapses before the fix how do folks get reinstated?

      When you click on the stats for a given lens, does the lens rank there match the lens rank shown on your over-all lens list? Mine doesn’t

    Thank goodness! I was really worried when a lens I worked pretty hard on suddenly got booted down to 220k :( I was pretty bummed. Hopefully that one day won’t count toward monthly ranking.
