Lensmaster SouthernWhisper, Melody in real life, has been making herself at home on Squidoo for a few weeks now and we’re very glad to have her. You’ll learn a lot from her lenses, but first learn a little more about the lensmaster herself from Melody’s responses to our recent interview.
How did you find Squidoo? A friend of mine creates lenses on Squidoo and introduced me to it. I hope one day to be as good as she is on Squidoo.
Your lens topics so far are “indoorsy” but you mention lots of “outdoorsy” interests in your bio, and of course you mention your grandchildren. What can we look forward to reading about next? Since I am new with Squidoo and I am trying to get a feel for it, that is why I started on the inside and I thought I would start in my home as I am searching for things to put in my home. We just renovated our house and just moved back into it so I am decorating now. Yes we have 12 grandchildren and we sure enjoy them all. I am working on a lens now but you will have to wait to see what it is. I will probably move on to doing some outside lenses after this one. I am looking forward to decorating my yard come spring.
If you could travel to one place you’ve never been, where would it be and why? I would love to travel to Paris, Florence and London. Why? So we can see things we have never seen before.
What can Squidoo do for you? I think it will introduce me to new things. I get to meet new people everyday from all over. I had never heard of squidoo before Bren showed it to me, so I have already learned something new.
Spring or Fall? I love them both. We don’t have much of a Spring in Louisiana. I love Spring because of the new growth and everything coming back to life with new buds on the trees and flowers growing. Who doesn’t love the Spring time. I am a cool weather person and I love fall too but the fall here is also still very warm and humid.
