Please welcome NikkiLindsey to Squidoo. She hasn’t been here very long, but Nikki’s already been busy entertaining and informing us with some great topics on her lenses. Please make her feel at home!
How did you find Squidoo? I found Squidoo through a friend who is a web designer in the UK. He shared a lens of his with me on how some very prominent websites looked in the past. I found it delightful, and after that I was hooked!
You obviously have some varied interests, and you definitely have a passion for travel. Any surprise lens topics in the works? I do have a wide variety of interests, which is part of why I have fallen in love with Squidoo. I can share my passions and interests with other people in a very creative way. I feel like I have not even begun to scratch the surface of all I would like to do on Squidoo. I am planning some upcoming lenses on top home remodeling projects and some of the amazing features of World’s Fairs in the past.
If you could travel to one place you’ve never been, where would it be and why? I have a long list of places I have yet to visit, so this question was pretty difficult for me. I think I would have to pick Hawaii, since it combines my love of natural beauty with a fascinating cultural history. Iceland was a close runner-up for the same reason.
What can Squidoo do for you? Squidoo allows me to indulge my love of sharing information and things that I find interesting in a creative way, and on my own terms. If I feel a burst of inspiration and have the time, I can create multiple lenses within a short period. I have also really enjoyed becoming part of such a supportive online community.
Chocolate or vanilla? If we are talking ice cream, then I say vanilla. For everything else, chocolate all the way!
