Today, meet lensmaster and RocketSquid JALowe.
How did you find Squidoo? Finding Squidoo was a rather random process really. As a student I have to write a lot of academic, very professional essays. I wanted to do some more recreational writing that was less formal and wouldn’t take too much time out of my studying so I looked around for places to write, that seemed fun, had a nice community, and didn’t have strict regulations about what I had to write so I stumbled upon Squidoo and I haven’t looked back since I signed up!
Of the lenses you’ve made so far, which is your favorite and why? I think my favourite right now is Captain America: An Inspirational Hero. It is one of my shorter lenses but I like writing about people that inspire me and I have always felt inspired by superheroes and I like writing about people that inspire me, be they real or fake. Editing Ed Wood is a fun one to because Ed Wood is so maligned but I have a real soft spot for him as somebody that I find rather inspiring. Yeah, I think more lenses about inspiration will be coming soon from me!
What one tip would you give to a new lensmaster starting out? For new lensmasters I think my main tip would be to follow your heart. Write lenses about what you love, what inspires you. Don’t make lenses that are cold and like articles. Make lenses that are passionate and full of life!
