Meet Gable, aka lensmaster gable-rhoads, who started out the new year by joining us here on Squidoo. She’s off to a great start with her lenses, with topics I’m sure you’ll enjoy. Before you visit, though, learn a little more about Gable by reading our revealing interview:
How did you find Squidoo? I found it during a Google search on legitimate work from home opportunities.
Your first three lenses are top 10 lists (good strategy!) but on very different topics. What topics can we expect to read about in the near future? I was given advice to write about what I know, so that is what you’ll see. I recently graduated with a degree in the healthcare field, so I will writing a few “what to expect” lenses on what I learned from my practical experience. I was a Marine, so I may find a way to use that in a lens in a helpful way. I am a political junkie, so while that may not be a “hot topic”, it is something I have been passionate about since the Carter-Reagan race. (Have I aged myself?)
If you could travel to one place you’ve never been, where would it be? It is always been my dream to someday go to Norway. Many of my ancestors are from there, and I would like to see “my roots”. And I’d like to see if they really do eat lutefisk, herring which has been soaked in lye!
What can Squidoo do for you? It is an fun outlet for me that let’s me make use of my free-time while my son is in school. I am not a creative cook, so I have also been checking out the recipes for quick and kid friendly ideas.
Sunrise or sunset? I’m an eternal optimist. A sunrise represents a new day to learn, to make progress, and to fill with wonderful memories.
