RocketSquids Is Moving To SquidooHQ

screen shot 2014-07-20 09:46:37 AMGreetings RocketSquids and Squidoo Community!

I’ve got some exciting news to share today. RocketSquids (our Squidoo University) is moving right here to SquidooHQ starting tomorrow.

We’re doing this because we want our newbies and veterans all together in one place participating in quests, getting tips and on the forum.

We’ve got a vibrant forum on SquidooHQ where you can ask questions and get feedback. Susan and many of the familiar faces you see on RocketSquids will be over there too.

Robin (our quest organizer) will be sharing 3 lens challenges per week that we’d love for you to participate in and Susan will be sharing tips on Tuesday and Thursday.

So pack your bags and move on over here We can’t wait to see you in our new home. Got a question? e-mail

      We’re happy to have you!

  • flycatcher

This is a great idea, Bonnie! Putting the RocketSquids and veterans together will surely benefit both groups. :)

    • bdkz

Thank you, I think so too : )

  • DaveStone13

Bonnie, you’re doing a great job of innovating and generally remixing the batter than makes Squidoo great. Keep up the great work!

    • bdkz

      Thanks Dave!

    • KonaGirl

      Ditto to that Dave!

I agree Susan, nice to have everyone together.

Squidoo just keeps moving forward in all areas, I love it! Yes, a blending of old and new lensmasters will be a great benefit to us all. Susan does such a fine job with the RocketSquids and I look forward to her tips as well as Robin’s quests. While I can’t always participate–Keep ‘em comin’!

This sort of looks like you are making every veteran a greeter. This is a great idea. As they say many hands make for light work. Add to that being able to read the rocket squid tips helps bring back things that I have forgotten.

  • nancycarol

    I think it’s a great idea!

  • LynnKK

I think this is a great idea! I am getting close to “graduation,” but I have already spent a lot of time reading and learning on the regular Forum. With everyone as busy as busy can be it is good to consolidate.

  • healinghands123

Awesome idea! I spent most of my ‘Forum’ time over with the veterans anyhow – rarely participating, but quietly listening and learning sooooo much!

  • Clkns

    thanks for the info

  • 1angelsbestkeptsecrets

I like that idea! Newbies and oldies will both benefit. :)

  • GrandmaT2

Thank you for always improving Squidoo

  • Kylyssa

Somehow my comment from yesterday disappeared but I wanted to say I think this is a good move. It will help new lenmasters find the RocketSquids. It’s also a great step in the direction of showing that old lensmasters are just as valued as new lensmasters with retention being important for both.

  • cybaby

    Good move.

  • essayshub

    I like the change… ;) thanks.
