3 Squidoo Magazines Now on Google+ !

Screen Shot 2014-01-28 at 1.20.53 PMIf you’re not familiar with our Squidoo magazines, here’s a chance to find out a bit more about them, if you’re a Google + user.

GoodVeg, our magazine for all things vegetarian, vegan (or just a bit more meat-free for omnivores looking to get more veggies into their diets) can be found here — GoodVeg on Google +.

If crafts — from knitting to crocheting to sewing to decoupage to paper crafting to kids’ crafts (time to take big deep breath after saying all that) — are your thing, then head on over to our magazine for all kinds of crafts – So Crafty on Google +.

And if you just LOVE finding new ways to make your home look and feel better, all without spending a TON of money or having to learn a whole new trade, you might want to give Cozy, our DIY and decor magazine, a try. Cozy is all about sharing real solutions for real homes — not the often-unattainable stuff that serves as inspiration (but isn’t very fun to live in) that you see in glossy magazines. Check out Cozy Magazine on Google +.

Join the circles and help us share all the great work being created on Squidoo! And you can find out more info about our magazines at

And oh — I almost forgot!

If you want to make some great lenses of your own for these magazines, you can always create awesome traditional lenses, or:

For GoodVeg, you might want to use our special recipe format lens (the link to make one follows):

Or, for So Crafty or Cozy, try doing a How-To lens using the format linked to below:

And, of course, if there’s a product that you just can’t live without, or a book that make your life so much easier when it comes to cooking, crafting, or DIY’ing — please share it with the world! Our product review lens format ( is a great way to get your opinions out there.

It’s awesome that these magazines are now on G+ too. I’m sure they are going to be very popular.

Wonderful to see Squidoo getting onto G+ instead of just connecting with FB users. Thank you! I’m sure this is a very good decision & will help bring more visibility to the magazines and other lenses. Off to en-circle all the magazines now! :)

I agree. Yes, it will bring more visibility to the magazines, Novels and other lenses. It give people a chance to explore their talent to the world as well.

great to see Squidoo starting to look at the potential of google+ after all this time. Could I offer a little advice/wisdom as well as asking a question or two?

The links provided here aren’t quite in the correct format, the /u/0/b/ stuff is not needed, the correct links should be in this format (edit – impossible to show format of link correctly – but, basically after the .com it should just be the id number for the community)

Also, can I ask what happened to the google public communities that Bonnie set up and invited folk to that were apparently associated with these pages? Appears these have since been deleted, but no reasons given. I had suggested to Bonnie that the communities would be much better set up by the actual pages, so they could benefit from the ‘owners card’, also I did ask how the communities were expected to operate in regard to squidoo’s policy against setting up ‘like exchanges’, as they could easily be interpreted as such, especially by google who take a very dim view of such practices to manipulate search results.

I did attempt to contact Bonnie via google+ to ask/advise about these, but didn’t receive any acknowledgement that she’s received my message, and the next time I looked the communities she had previously invited me to were gone….

I would love to have learn about cooking crafting. I once worked at a magazine company dealing with Cooking Light, Southern Living, and many more.
