Q. Lensmaster likintrikin asks: On every lens there is an Explore related pages area off to the right, is that something lensmasters control? Or is it automatic?

Answered by Kab: The Explore Related Pages feature (also known as the Discover Feature, or Discovery Bar), is defaulted to automatically display related lenses, determined to be related based on their tags and yours.

It will show the title and the lens photo for each lens — which is another reason it is important to have a great and engaging lens photo and a title that is rockin’, clear, specific, and still inviting.

If you choose, you can specify exactly which pages are displayed there for some or all six of the lenses.  If you know of another lens that pairs well with your own you can feature it there (whether it is someone else’s lens or your own).

To change the lenses displayed, click Edit on the introduction module, and click on the Related Lenses tab. Add up to six lenses you want featured, and hit Save. (Be sure to re-publish).

You also have the option to choose to not have this feature displayed on your lens at all, however if you opt-out of it, you are also opting out of your lens showing up in the Explore Related Pages areas on other lenses, so choose wisely as it could cost you traffic. This setting, also, can be made on the Related Lenses tab of the introduction module.

Now, go on, scoot!  And, explore some related pages!
