Shakamak State Park

I had never heard of Shakamak State Park in Indiana (before today) but it reminds me of the parks we have here in Ohio.

The lush greenery, tranquil setting and blooming flowers are a typical scene for early June in the northern part of the United States.

Mulberry’s beautiful photography on this lens is a great reminder for all of us to enjoy the simple things in life this Summer like taking a long walk in a local park and enjoying nature.

PS – Check out the amazing photo she took of the “Jack-in-the-Pulpit” plant in her slideshow. It’s a magnificent species with an interesting history.

Two thumbs up for Shakamak.  We were just talking about it this afternoon.  Time to get back to nature!
