Lens of the Day: Primitive Skills and Wilderness Crafts
Today’s Lens of the Day takes us back to a simpler way of living. Then again, simpler might not be the right word here because the primitive skills and wilderness crafts described and demonstrated in the lens are all made from the most basic materials and in my opinion look like a lot of hard work.
Lensmaster Einar_A describes them self as a mountain critter who enjoys getting down to the basics and understanding how things work and their lens Primitive Skills and Wilderness Crafts is a prime example of both.
The lens contains a number of interesting skills that were used centuries ago to create many of the things we take so readily for granted today such as fire, lighting and even shelter.
I don’t know about you but I can’t even imagine having to make the cooking utensils and the fire, without matches, in order to cook a meal but it sure is fun to learn how our ancient ancestors lived and the skills they needed in order to survive.
Stop by this terrific lens today. It’s loaded with good information and fabulous photos taken by Einar_A. When you’re done reading, stop back and tell us what you think. Would you be willing to try out the primitive lifestyle… even for a weekend?
