Lens of the Day: Photos From Auckland Zoo
Have you ever been to the Auckland Zoo? Me either, but after reading the Photos From Auckland Zoo lens by Flynn_the_Cat, I feel like I have.
The lens is a spectacular collection of information and amazing photos taken by the lensmaster of some of the animals who inhabit the Zoo. It’s a super resource and virtual tour of the Zoo for anyone planning to visit and I think it’s also a great place for people who’ve spent time at the Auckland Zoo to relive the fun they shared while visiting there.
It’s hard to believe this lensmaster’s claim that she’s not finished with this lens, and her Intro module statement, “This guide sadly isn’t finished yet, but you are looking at the beginnings of it.”, proves that even the most fantastic lenses are never really quite done and that there’s always room to grow your lenses with more and more great content. (Sharing that she intends to add even more about this wonderful Zoo is also a good way to invite readers to return to the lens to see what fun photos she might add in the future.)
The lens is about a place that Flynn_the_Cat really knows and loves and you can feel that through her words and pictures. Is there a local place that you feel passionate about? Why not create a lens about it and share it with the world?
PS… After visiting Photos From Auckland Zoo, stop back and tell us which were your favorite animal photos. Me? I’m partial to the peacock pictures because we had one visit our yard once and I know how difficult it was to snap a good photo of the fancy fellow.
