Can you imagine jumping on a plane and heading off to one of the most dangerous places in the world? To the Congo, Darfur, or Indonesia?

Neither can we.

But that’s exactly what staff and volunteers for our newest nonprofit partner, the International Rescue Committee, do every day. They attend to millions of people whose lives have been shattered by conflict and violence. They resettle thousands of refugees every year. They advocate for change — like in their current campaign to stop violence against women.

It’s a pretty fantastic organization.
