One of my personal favorite things about Squidoo is that it opens new interests for me.

For instance, until I came across the lens, Creating Realistic Geisha Makeup by lensmaster JZinoBodyArt, I never really gave much thought to Geisha makeup as an art form. After reading the lens, I came away wanting to know even more about this style, lifestyle, and the subtle differences between Maiko and Geiko.

Maybe that’s because I found something that I never realized I was interested in before, or maybe it’s because of the beautiful way the lens was written and laid out on the page. I’m guessing it was a combination of the two.

Hi, I too love squidoo as it opens up new interests for me, gives me insights, and I always learn something new which I love as well.
When it comes to make-up and trying to make the best of yourself I am all ears as I find first impressions are the most important part of meeting new people, not that I would get made up in Geisha make-up daily lol.
