Tell us a little bit about your niche topic.
Everyone needs something to help them relax and unwind after a stressful day at work (or school). For me, video games are what hit the mark and 9 times out of 10, I will choose to play a game rather than watch a movie or read a book. – Well, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. Games are good for capturing my focus and allowing me to escape into a fantasy world, but still exercise my mind while I’m having fun. Video games were once the territory of a few nerds/geeks and while I will admit to being a bit of a geek, games have moved on. I think it’s time that they became more mainstream and I hope to help make that happen on Squidoo.
Tell us about the moment you fell in love with your topic. Was it an immediate thing or did it happen over time?
I don’t know if there was a specific time but I have loved video games ever since I started playing them, which was when I was about 10. This was on my first computer – a Sinclair ZX Spectrum – and I’ve kept going ever since.
Who had the most influence in your life?
Lots of people, but the top spots go to: Jesus, my wife, Winston Churchill and Martin Luther King.
