Onefootputt is the “I Love Legos Too” Contributor on Squidoo

20140301_130623Today we’re pleased to introduce you to onefootputt.  He’s our  “I Love Legos Too” Contributor on Squidoo.

Tell us a little bit about your niche topic.
The Lego company is based in Denmark and began creating bricks in 1949. Since then, the Lego company has produced over 500 billion bricks, stacked together, the bricks would reach the moon 10 times.

There are many ways to see legos, Lego Stores, Lego Discovery Centers, and 6 Lego Theme Parks are one option. Lego Train Clubs (LTCs) and Lego Users Group (LUGs) throughout the United States and world put on lego train shows. At these shows, you can see lego trains running around lego creations.

In addition to the sets themselves, there are the popular Lego Video Games, books, and a huge secondary market where you find retired legos or amass a large set of legos to build your own creations.

Tell us about the moment you fell in love with your topic. Was it an immediate thing or did it happen over time?
I received my first lego set as a kid and I was hooked. It wasn’t until I had my own kids that I began my second quest into legos and continue that love today as I visit many Lego train shows in the Chicago area. My favorite sets are the Lego Star Wars ships and my dream set is the Millennium Falcon.
