The “I Sweat Glitter” title suits me perfectly. I love my stash of glitters and many other sweet embellishments and goodies that I’ve collected over the years to use. I enjoy a really wide range of fun arts and crafts.

As far back as I can remember in my life, I’ve always loved arts and crafts. My Mom taught me all the basics of sewing and knitting while I was very young and it just snowballed from there. As I grew older, I discovered many more crafts for myself that I really enjoyed.
Huge for me in particular are paper crafts such as card making, origami, paper tole, decoupage – anything fashioned from cute patterned papers really appeals. My paper stash is something I will never get through in this lifetime!
Other crafts that work for me are making small felt plushies, hand-stitching, embroidery and perler beads. I will give most crafts a go but I really like working on small scales since I’m all about neatness and precision.
Who had the most influence in your life?
In my early years especially it was the artist and crafter Kaffe Fasset who really inspired me for his amazing use of color and stunning design work. His colorful and intricate patchwork designs with knitting, fabric art, needlepoint, painting and so many other arts really made me feel that anything was possible in the world of crafting. And indeed it is.
