jennabee25 is the “Rock Star Knitter” Contributor on Squidoo

rock_star_normalToday we proudly introduce jennabee25 who is our “Rock Star Knitter” Contributor on Squidoo.

Tell us a little bit about your niche topic.
It’s about all things knitting! I’m always working some sort of knitting project, usually more than one. I want to share my knowledge about knitting, as well as encouraging others in their knitting endeavors.

Tell us about the moment you fell in love with your topic. Was it an immediate thing or did it happen over time?
I think I fell in love when I completed that first complex project. It was a blue basket weave scarf. It was the most complex pattern I had done at the time and I was very proud of it.

Who had the most influence in your life?
My grandmother was the original rock star knitter. She could whip out complex afghans like no one’s business. I also had hats and sweaters from her when I was little. She was my inspiration to start knitting.

Love this. I can crochet, but knitting was something I could never manage. I’m happy for the folks who can knit and create such beautiful things.

I love knitting. My son was taught to knit at school when he was 4 year old and they still knit regularly. It’s very therapeutic – and helps develop fine motor skills. I wonder if you’ve seen this lens. I was totally fascinated! http://www.squidoo.com/knitting4UKcharities – this is a great topic. Good luck.

Such fun to share a skill like this. I’ll contribute now and then since knitting has been a now and then habit for half a century.

We didn’t have any knitters in our family, so I actually had to take a class to learn to knit. I was quite proud of my first knitted sweater. Knitting is an awesome craft, an fabulous niche, and I look forward to all that you share with us.
