Green Knitting for Everyone

1. Green Knitting for Everyone

Knitting is an activity that already has low impact on the environment. After all, we just need some pointy sticks and some sort of string/thread/yarn to practice our craft. Our choice of new yarn, however, can help support small farms and green agricultur…

Happy Earth Day! I will be digging up my first area at the front of the house for a row of sunflowers to be planted and, if really ambitious, will get an area dug up in the back of the house for sunflowers too! So few lenses about a subject we must all embrace…a little disappointing I’d say. Were you surprised, Robin, at the lack of response? I am. And saddened.

It does seem like Earth Day is being less discussed in general – you’d think we could find a way to celebrate in ways that all can agree on.
