Today’s community lensmaking quest is all about books, or to be more specific, new book lenses.
If you’re someone who LOVES books, all you need to do right now is decide which one to review next but if you’re not a big reader, don’t walk away from this quest just yet.
We’re looking for all kinds of books and reviews to stock our Squidoo “library” pages and that includes cookbooks, craft guides, DIY project books, comics, magazines, travel memoirs, biographies, fiction, nonfiction, children’s books and any other type of reading material you enjoy or use on a regular basis.
We’d also like to see your DIY or crafty lenses about book storage, repair or other projects that involve books. Got an electronic reader? Tell us why you chose the one you did or create a lens that compares two different ones.
Another way to go might be to build a new lens that serves as an educational resource. Share your experience and expertise about getting young children to read more or how to encourage reading outside of the classroom during the teen years.
Your lens content should be both personal and informative. Give the reader a little background information. Why are you the best person to be writing this lens. Are you a teacher, a mom or a craftsman? Be helpful by sharing your ideas about who would most enjoy your chosen book or project. Is it for a beginner? A master? Someone who loves romance? Be honest and fair with your review and please don’t spoil the book for others by sharing too much information.
Feel free to visit our Best of Books category to find some inspiration.
